Why we charge during beta

Free beta users tell you a product is interesting. Paying beta users tell you it is useful. We would rather know the truth early, while we can still act on it.

Charging also lets us be straight with you about what this is. BŪP is not finished. It is genuinely good at the things it does — reading your inbox before you do, drafting in your voice, remembering what your clients care about, working a task and showing you the result — and there are edges we are still filing down. You will find some. We want to hear about them, and we answer.

In exchange: your price does not go up while you stay subscribed. Whatever you pay today is what you pay when we are three times this size.

Questions

Why is there a separate charge for SMS?

SMS costs real money per message to carriers, and it is the channel our heaviest users lean on hardest. Pricing it separately at $29/month keeps the base price honest for people who are happy on Telegram and Slack, instead of making everyone subsidise the most expensive channel.

Is this a free trial?

No. This is a paid beta. The product works today and we would rather have a small number of people who genuinely want it than a large number testing it for free. You can cancel in one click at any time.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your connections, memory and history stay intact and paused. If you come back, everything picks up where it left off. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile.

Do you train AI models on my data?

No. Your data is used to serve you and nothing else. It is not used to train models, and it is not shared with other customers.

Do you offer team or enterprise pricing?

Team workspaces are in active development, with shared organisational context and tiered access so not everyone sees everything. Get in touch and we will scope it with you.

What if I need it to stop doing something?

Every automation is individually toggleable, and nothing is ever sent on your behalf without your explicit yes. It drafts, it proposes, it waits.
